The Requirement :
QVC UK, is a leading television shopping channel broadcaster in the United Kingdom. It was formed in 1993 when QVC agreed a deal with Sky TV to create a UK version of the US channel. Streamvue were approached to provide an Enterprise level solution to mix the
live selling feeds from their studio environments across multiple locations whilst providing a direct overlay to their stock management and ordering system to allow customers to visualise the current stock status of selling items
The Solution :
Streamvue provided their Vivo appliance servers for realtime video capture. This was in-turn rendered onscreen with predefined templates allowing live information from their stock and order management system. With multiple studios, broadcasts could be switched from one to another with a predefined script as items are sold out.
