The Requirement :
When Disney Italia moved into their new premises in the centre of Milan they were looking for a state of the art solution for distributing all Italian FTA & Sky Pay TV channels over their corporate network.
In addition they wanted to mix their own corporate messaging so building a Digital Signage network. They ran an extensive tender including live demonstrations from potential suppliers to be sure they had a solution that was fit for purpose and could expand with their business needs.
The Solution :
StreamVue's Vivo appliance servers were configured to receive the outputs from 27 Sky boxes and turn them into Multicast streams. Vivo - DVBT servers received the FTA channels and distributed them in a similar way. 6 Channels of digital signage where made available over the network with the addition of multiple endpoint screens, set top boxes and a large videowall. Full control and configuration of the endpoint content was provide via StreamVue’s cloud management portal.
